The Czech and Slovak communities are coming together once more to host the ‘2009 Bohemian Ball’ with proceeds going to the SickKids Foundation. The future promise of The Hospital for Sick Children rests upon availability of more funds to provide modern equipment and support services. 

The Canadian Children’s Opera Company will be performing at the event to show their support for The Hospital for Sick Children. 

The 2009 Bohemian Ball, organized by the Canada Czech Republic Chamber of Commerce under the auspices of the Consul General of the Czech Republic, will take place on February 20, 2009 at The Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto.
